What's possible with Look and Feel?

Dear RS users, I am using a developer to create some RS reports. He is, as yet, not so experienced so I have some questions about what is possible, can you help? 1. Is it possible to alter the parameters section layout? combo box appearance e.g. width and length three columns of parameters (rather than 2) position of fields 2. Is it possible to have a group header where the contents are not governed by the layout of the later detail i.e. the group header may, in effect, spread across four columns of the detail? (my experience is with Access, where they are independent. 3. Can I put controls somewhere to Expand all & Collapse all when drill is used? 4. Sorting: If duplicated values are suppressed, and I can sort on a column is the result correct i.e. does it sort using the actual value of a field rather than the suppressed & therefore null value? 5. Sorting: If a report has a drill does it make sense to sort on any of the "drill" columns, and what is the result - within the grouping or what? 6. Can I change the format of a row dependent on the content, such as, if date is before this month make this row grey? What I need is enough to give him a clue where to look or how it works. Any suggestions about good resources would also be good. many thanks.................... liz
