SRS report runs without promptng the user to provide parameter values
Posted: Friday, April 03, 2009 11:49 PM (GST)

I have a SRS report, when run, it prompts the user to enter parameter values, and then user can run the report. It works perfect for all the users except for one user...and aparantly he is my boss :)

When he runs the report it doesn't prompt him to enter parameter values, instead report directly runs. NO NO NO I have definitely not coded such that for my boss it will run directly...but then I am unable to find the solution too. Can anybody help?

Additional info - he has vista ie8, runs it on vpn...this environment works for other users. btw if he uses another machine and there it works well for him, but it doesn't work only on his laptop...we have tried to clear cache, cookie etc. all...tried comaptibility mode as well. one more thing...the report generates the details basd on the currently logged in user...ideally that should not make much difference, as it is working all fine for rest of the people.

    Regards,

    P
